Summer Solstice 2020

There are some constants in life to guide our year and here we are again Summer Solstice is here. I have come up with a few words while sat in the early morning sunshine:

I wake today on a day that’s the longest; the sun shines down and seems its strongest.
Its wonderful heat and beautiful rays; they are here to guide us through these days.
It doesn’t matter where you live; it doesn’t matter what you give.
The light will be there when you need it most; it’s there in the sky our beautiful host.
As I sit and wonder where I should be; at this time of life am I the real me.
From the sun there is something that I can borrow; I need to live my today and not dwell on tomorrow.
Make the most of your time on this longest of days; you are doing ok just give yourself some praise.
