Winter Solstice Dec 2019

Today is a day full of windy weather, a day we join and come together.
It comes each year when friends are near, full of joy and full of cheer.
The solstice is here to wrap up this year, with no need to worry, and plenty of cheer.
The short days are passing and soon will lengthen, giving us time to grow and strengthen.

Make the most of this time, through these winter days, it is time to seek clarity away from the haze.
We now have time to reflect and ponder, A time to recap and a time to wonder.
Things we have thought, and things we have done, are now in the past and can’t be undone.
So now is our chance to set things right, we can set out our future starting tonight.

We can plan our time wisely for the days yet to come, making sure we include plenty of fun.
The days will grow longer and the sun will shine down, on the days we are happy and the days that we frown.
Enjoy life for yourself and life with others, strangers, friends, fathers and mothers.
With each person we help, including our self, our life will be brighter and so will our health.
